Through my internal drive to challenge myself, and my fair-minded desire to expand my horizon intellectually, I'm constantly seeking new opportunities to work in stimulating environments. 
My curiosity; desire for perpetual improvement; international background and passion for result driven online marketing, makes me the perfect internship candidate for your company. I have been equipped with an analytical tool kit (and mindset) from Copenhagen Business School. More importantly, however, I developed an entrepreneurial spirit and gained practical experience in a start-up company in Copenhagen and currently in one of the biggest incubators, Project A Ventures, in Berlin.


 


 

Work experience
 

SEM Internship - Wine in Black (Project A Ventures)

​2014 August  - January 2015 

 

As intern at Wine in Black, I obtained a profound understanding of Google Adwords and were involved in the supervision, management, expansion, analysis and optimization of search engine marketing campaigns in Germany, Austria, Holland and France. 

 

Main activities and responsibilities:  

 

  • Scorecard reporting’s and KPI supervision 

  • Ad testing and ad copy adaptation  

  • Executing bidding strategies in Marin, evaluating and analyzing performance of bidding tactics

  • New Adwords functionality and feature testing (call out extensions, seller rating extensions, dynamic search ads) and reporting to management 

  • Manual bidding in Adwords 

  • SEM landing page design and A/B test setups, performance evaluation and A/B roadmap

  • Bidmodifer (geotargeting, dayparting, device and demographics) placement and performance analysis

  • Adpolice brand watch and monitoring trademark infringements 

  • Adwords workshops with new trainees and interns 


Results: Administered and managed four SEM accounts with an > 90.000 EUR monthly ad spend from November - December autonomously without supervision. 

 
Digital Marketing Manager - Wild East Travels

2013 August  - 2014 August

 

As Digital Marketing Manager, I managed a budget of 500.000 DKK for Scandinavia and the DACH market. 

 

Main activities and responsibilities: 

 

  • Organic and paid scorecard reporting

  • Link building manuals and strategy  

  • Google Adwords account setup and administration with 35.000 USD annual ad spend 

  • Google Analytics dashboard(s) and segment(s) reports for upper management 

  • Off -/and On Page SEO best practice implementation 

  • Landing page creation and conversion testing roadmap 

  • >  20 SEM A/B landing page tests quarterly 

  • Budget allocation to marketing channels 

  • Qualitative feedback analysis from clients and homepage usability testing to redesign/optimize the purchasing flow 

  • Email marketing campaigns 

  • Retargeting through Facebook custom audiences and Google Adwords


Results:  15% increase in non-brand traffic YoY, outperforming 3 out of 4 competitors in rankings of 25 most critical keywords, Increased CTR from 6% to 9% and decreased Cost-per-Lead by 15% while increasing lead-rate in Google Adwords.  

 

 

Head of Sales - Wild East Travels

​2010 August - 2013 August 

 

As Head of Sales, I managed three account managers and grew sales by 360% from 2012 - 2013 in the German market. 

 

Main activities and responsibilities: 

 

  • Sales training/workshops with account managers 

  • Sales - and pipeline reporting to upper management

  • Service recovery - and after sales strategy 

  • Cross - and upselling of travel activities 

  • KPI control of account managers 

  • Customer service 

  • Sales staff recruitment 

  • Building and maintaining affiliate network of local travel agencies 

 

Results:  Increase of 10% in contribution margin. 360% growth in sales for DACH market from 2012 - 2013. "Gazelle Prize" in June 2013 due to four consecutive years of positive income results and one of the fastest growing travel operators in Denmark.
